Ceteris paribus

I learned a new latin phrase today. Ceteris paribus means "all else being equal." Latin phrases are essential for the sophisticated Scottsdale resident. Hoard them like gold and become the most fashionable person you know.

Vocabulary is the new bling.

Yeah, this phrase is used a lot in the field of economics. The technical pronounciation is with the 'c' making a 'k' noise. However, this has fallen by the wayside about the same time latin stopped being the national langage of Europe. (fall of Rome reference)
