Sharp, bare tree branches
Ascend the gold sunset sky,
Splintered silhouettes.
Her chin rests on soft
Hands at the window sill. How
Pale her reflection.

I have learned that haiku are often about the change of seasons, and generally nature related. I had done some meditating on this topic to find the perfect haiku.
I began a drinking binge to understand the relationships of nature and came up with the perfect haiku. Unfortunately, I forgot it when I threw up.
