The Great Wall

I won't waste too many words on how incredible the Great Wall is. It would be impressive enough if there were only a single ancient tower on the high ridge. The terrain is difficult and the view is astounding. But there are dozens of towers in view, they reach to each end of the horizon.

Two Babies

My new laptop arrived yesterday. It's a Dell Inspiron 9300 and more laptop than I'll ever need. I was lured in by a 40% off deal at Techbargains. I've signed up for a fiction writing class through the Piper Center at ASU. My plan is that a structured class and a convenient laptop will be enough to get me writing more than blog entries. Hopefully, my registration will arive before the class fills up.

As cool as a new laptop is it's really nothing compared to my family's new gift. My sister Anna just called me to share that she and Tobie will be parents in April. I'll be following Josh and Chris into unclehood.
